What Kloti makes, what you need before you start, and how paying works.

What is Kloti?

Kloti writes and designs a carousel about what you do. You get a set of slides with the words already on them, and the caption to post it with. You never have to think of what to say first. It works the same whether you sell something, offer a service, or just have something worth posting.

What do I need before I start?

A link to your website, or just a name for what you do and a few words about it. A photograph helps. Some designs are words and colour only, so they need no photograph at all.

Do I have to write anything myself?

No. The slides arrive written, in the order somebody should read them, and the caption comes with them. If a sentence is not right, you change that sentence.

How does Kloti know what my post should look like?

Answer three short questions and Kloti chooses the look for you. If you already know what you want, pick one of the designs yourself instead. Either way it is one screen.

How many slides is a carousel?

Between eight and fourteen, depending on the design. Kloti works out how many the post needs, so that is one less thing to decide.

What if I only have one photograph?

That is the usual case. Where a slide has a space for a picture, Kloti says in plain words what that picture should be. You answer with another of your own, or you have it made. You are never asked to describe a picture from nothing.

Is it my real photograph in the pictures?

A photograph you upload is used as it is. When Kloti makes a picture you do not have, it works from the photograph you gave it, so what you see is your own thing in a different setting, not a stock photo of something similar.

Can I change the words after Kloti has written them?

Yes. The words sit over the picture as text, never baked into it, so correcting one word changes one word and nothing is made again. Opening a carousel for changes is a paid feature, charged once for that product.

What size are the slides?

Every slide is 1080 by 1440 pixels, the size that fills a phone screen. There is no size to pick and no cropping to do.

How do I actually post it?

You download the slides as picture files and copy the caption, then post them from your own account. Kloti is not connected to your social accounts and never posts anything for you.

What does Kloti cost?

Kloti runs on credits. A new account starts with enough of them to make something, so you see a finished carousel before you decide anything. The plans and what they cost are on the plans page once you are signed in.

Can I use what I make to sell with?

Yes. The slides, the words and the caption are yours to post, to advertise with and to sell from. The terms of service set that out in full.

What happens to the photographs I upload?

They are stored so your work is still there when you come back, and they are used to make your posts and nothing else. We do not use them to train models of our own. You can delete a project, or your whole account, from your settings.
